I employed North West Home Improvements to instal my patio. The owner, Peter Enguita, is not a builder.He subcontracted my job to his brother, Paul. When the job was almost finished I was persuaded to pay up in full. Big mistake. The final pointing was rushed and done in cement. I then spent the following weeks trying them back. Eventually I had to redo it myself.
We are a family-owned specialist craftsmen firm with many years experience looking after homes and properties; Design, Build, Improving, Renovating and Maintaining.

Russ contacted me within 10 minutes of me putting in the request, and was at my home within the hour to evaluate the job. He told me the day and time he would be there to carry out the work and he was true to his word. Russ had a very professional attitude to his work and his workmanship was first class. On completion of the task he cleaned up and arranged for all residual rubbish to be removed. I can thoroughly recommend Russ Oakes and Swiftfix. I would definitely use them again.

Tony was fantastic stepping in at short notice after being let down by another tradesman. He replaced our old bathroom suite and put plastic cladding on the walls and ceiling fitted new lino and other jobs that came up. I would highly recommend him super friendly guy and fantastic workmanship. Would definitely give him a call for future jobs.

As a customer of Rated People do not be tempted to over-price your job as the tradesmen get charged according to the budget you set, which for a small job can be a large percentage of the price you pay him.

Very helpful & professional. On a job to install a shower, went that extra mile to also fit a support for the shower curtain rail for no extra charge - and the charge for the job-proper was very reasonable too. In these days when finding a decent & reliable plumber is hard, I'm definitely keeping hold of his business card.

Jozsef did a first class job, we are very pleased, he arrived on time did a brilliant job dispite many problems he just got on with it, he cleaned up after fitting new taps and left the place looking great, I would definitely recommend him.

We had a boiler and central heating system installed, as well as the removal of an old system plus gas heaters. Very pleased with the work and quality of parts. The price seems very reasonable to me and there were no unexpected costs. Andy sometimes takes a while to respond but he's obviously busy and his communication is very clear and everything was explained well.
